JPG to DXF: Turning Photos and Images into CAD Files

JPEG images can be converted to DXF using automatic image tracing (vectorisation). Because JPEG uses lossy compression, the edges in the resulting DXF may be slightly rougher than those from a PNG source. For optimal results, pre-process your JPEG in an image editor to increase contrast and reduce noise before tracing.
