Frequently Asked Questions: MC400E

Can I use RE28b (200×280mm) designs on the MC400E?

No. The Janome MC400E carriage has a maximum mechanical travel of 200 × 200 mm (SQ20b). If a design is larger than 200 × 200 mm, scale it down or split it into multiple hoopings before stitching.

How do thread color changes work on the MC400E?

Our converter embeds Janome 0x80 0x01 color stop commands. The MC400E automatically pauses at each color change and displays the upcoming thread color on the screen.
