Use amounts from your own statements

Remove the example rows, then add each recurring charge with its actual amount and billing cycle. Keep every amount in the same currency. The tool does not connect to bank accounts or discover subscriptions automatically.

For this worked example, add a service costing 15 per month and another costing 120 per year. These are invented service amounts, not current prices for named products. Monthly and yearly billing are supported. For a quarterly bill, enter its monthly equivalent and label the row clearly.

Check the yearly and monthly totals

The monthly service costs 15 × 12 = 180 per year. The annual service costs 120 per year, or 10 per month on average. Together they cost 300 annually and 25 monthly on average.

An average monthly cost is a budgeting figure. It does not mean an annual provider bills you 10 every month. Plan separately for the month when the full annual bill is due.

Convert cost into work hours once

Enter your take-home hourly wage, after deductions. At 25 per hour, the example subscriptions require 300 / 25 = 12 work hours per year, or 25 / 25 = 1 hour per month. The tool does not subtract another tax percentage.

If you only know gross pay, estimate your take-home hourly rate from your own payslip first. There is no single tax rate that fits every visitor. Leaving the wage blank or at zero keeps the cost totals available and leaves work hours unavailable.

Make decisions from actual usage

Check each provider’s cancellation terms and whether you still use the service. Remove one row to see how much the yearly total falls. The result estimates savings from that charge; it does not account for refunds, cancellation penalties, price increases, or replacement services.

Entries exist in the current page session and are lost on reload. Keep your own record if you need a lasting budget. Do not enter account passwords or payment-card details; they are unnecessary for this calculation.
